A few days ago. Kurt Busch had revealed that he could make a sensational comeback to the NASCAR Cup Series in the future. The former 23XI Racing driver opened up on how he’s feeling “much better” with “tremendous” improvements in his recovery. Now, even though he may return, which would be a cause of jubilation not just in his fans but in general in NASCAR, there is still a sour pill to swallow about this considering where the sport is this weekend.

Ahead of the All-Star race on Sunday, the 2004 Cup champion took to his social media to express his excitement and his appreciation for the comeback of NWS. “N. Wilkesboro, NC is back from the dead. This immediately reminded fans of his absence as a driver in the exhibition race. They opened up on how they would’ve loved to see him race at the historic racetrack.
