NASCAR Set to Bring $113 Million Windfall to Disputed City, Bubba Wallace’s Boss Michael Jordan Called His Home for 15 Years

As this season draws to a close, with just one race remaining, talks about the next season are already coming up. One of the major highlights of next year would be NASCAR’s first-ever dive in a street racing format. The Chicago street race will surely bring in a lot of eyeballs and hopefully revenue as well.

Reports suggest that the Chicago Street Race weekend will bring in an estimated total of $113.8 million. Which in comparison is the equivalent of 850 full-time jobs. Moreover, the race weekend will also generate about $8.9 million in tax revenue to the city of Chicago.

The president of the NASCAR Chicago street race stated, “showcase so many of the amazing things Chicago has to offer.”

Chicago will also be a trip down memory lane for 23XI owner

For NBA legend, Michael Jordan, Chicago had been his home as he played for the iconic Chicago Bulls team back in his prime.

Jordan is the part-team owner of 23XI Racing in NASCAR along with the driver and entrepreneur, Denny Hamlin.

It would sure be a nostalgic race for Michael Jordan, who also happens to be one of the city’s biggest attractions, owing to the city’s iconic team. All in all, we hope that 23XI racing has a far better season than they had this year and that they can capitalize on their recent success and try to win the race at Chicago.
