On another note, she is the proprietor of two different types of wine brands, besides having her own fancy candle business. She is in love with aliens and feels like she is one of them. All in all, her life is far from boring. And so are her stories on Instagram. From funny anecdotes to informative videos, her Instagram has it all. Recently, she shared a video featuring a reputed midwifery expert who reaffirms the benefits of eating meat during pregnancy.

Renowned birth specialist Lindsey Meehleis had two different placentas from two different mothers laid in front of her. As she analyzed them, Danica Patrick could not help but be shocked at the contrast between the two just based on appearance and said, “Whoaaaaa”.

One of the mothers was on a vegan diet, and the other had a lot of red meat, pasteurized eggs, and raw milk throughout her entire pregnancy. Meehleis stated that the vegan mother had fallen so low on iron that she had to force her to take liver pills. whereas the mother, who survived on a non-vegetarian diet, did not face any such issues.

Meehleis admitted, “There is such a huge substantial difference in the quality and the consistency of these placentas. Over here, this is called calcification.” She then put her gloved fingers into the placenta and explained, “If you feel it, it’s hard. There’s a little bit of a sand-like; rock-like consistency. And this is throughout the whole placenta.”

“This is not what we would want to see in pregnancy,” she added.

In her almost 19 years of birthing, Meehleis never had a side-by-side comparison like that. Ecstatic, she exclaimed, “It is just mind-blowing to me.”

It is safe to say that choosing a vegan diet while nurturing a baby inside the womb is not a good idea. To think that there is such a huge setback in the nutrition that the fetus receives when its mother switches to veganism is just insane. However, Danica Patrick herself is not an irresponsible mother. She takes good care of her daughters.

Those who know Danica Patrick closely enough might wonder: When did Patrick become a mother? Although she is indeed a mother, it is not exactly as it sounds. Danica Patrick is the proud mother of two dogs: the 8-year-old Belgian Malinois, Ella, and the 9-year-old White Husky, Dallas. In a video featuring Dallas, Danica expressed why she is so proud of her.

As mentioned earlier, Danica Patrick’s life includes doing a lot of things outside the house. And most of it requires frequent flights from one place to another. “There’s a lot of different things that I do outside of the house,” she said. While Dallas rained kisses on her mom, Danica Patrick revealed what she loved most about her fur baby.

She said, “There’s a lot of pride to having a well-trained dog. It means that I’ve kept up with a little bit of the training because dogs forget so you have to keep up with it but it also means that I’ve made good decisions for her and I’ve sent her to the right place and have the right people looking after her.”

A major problem with dog owners is that they have to leave their pets back at home for work. And the poor animal stays home all alone and suffers from separation anxiety. However, that is not the case with Danica Patrick. The 41-year-old Wisconsin native acknowledged that Dallas makes her life so much easier and better because she can take her wherever she goes.
