His three Cup Series Championships don’t begin to describe the legacy the man has built in his motor sporting career. With the journey that he has had, Tony Stewart is surely one of the names on the list of NASCAR legends. He retired from the Cup Series racing in 2016, but to no one’s surprise, he is still quite popular among NASCAR fans. Other than his love for racing, if there is one other thing that the 51-year-old is known for, it is his love for pets. But sadly, a few years ago, he had to give up his beloved pet, or rather a family member and the reason is heart-wrenching!

The Stewart Haas Racing team co-owner knows how to keep himself busy. In the past, we have seen him drive midget and sprint cars. This year he was also seen making his return to the Fox Sports broadcast team for NASCAR. But in his free time, he is either seen spending time with his pets or being pushed to go on fresh adventures with his wife Leah Pruett.

Stewart recently appeared for an interview with LeBatardShow on YouTube, where he was seen answering some personal questions. The questions even made him walk down a sad memory lane. The host asked him if he still had his pet pig with him. Stewart replied that he no longer has the pet pig with him anymore. When he was asked the reason for the same, the former driver revealed his dog, and the pig got into an ugly fight leading to some repercussions.

He said, “I said, ‘Somebody’s gotta go’ and my dog was my right-hand man, and so the pig relocated three miles down the road from our house and has enjoyed a great life he has found the farm so to speak.

The host asked him what the name of his pig was and if he could still visit him. Stewart said the pig’s name is ‘Porkchop.’ He could visit him earlier, but now that the Smoke has moved to Indiana, he doesn’t get to meet his pig anymore.
