Last Sunday ushered in encouraging news for Hendrick Motorsports. It was a crucial win for the team and William Byron at Las Vegas. It was their first win after massive setbacks in previous races. Along with Byron, Alex Bowman, his teammate, too had a great race and eventually earned the third spot. Naturally, both men were elated with the results and arguably this is what led them to initiate a friendly banter on social media.
For William Byron, the Las Vegas victory marked his fifth career win in NASCAR Cup Series. With this, Hendrick Motorsports drivers have managed to make it to the top of the charts this time. Even Kyle Larson finished second, which was wonderful for the team. After the disappointment for the team in the last few races, this turned out to be a very satisfying outing that led them to bag all top three positions.

He added a few pictures from the car after his win. In one of the pictures, he is seen wearing a very huge hat. The hat has ‘Raptor’ written over it, which is Byron’s sponsor brand. Seeing this, Alex Bowman did not miss the chance to tease his teammate.

Team Hendrick Motorsports’ top three wins might have come as a surprise to a few, but it has certainly elevated the drivers and the team. Though all three men dominated at the track in Las Vegas, it was the very efficient teamwork that helped Byron win.
It was Kyle Larson who was leading until Byron took the lead toward the end. Byron earned his lead to Larson because of his pit crew’s quick work. It helped Byron to beat teammate Kyle Larson down the pit road. This smart move from Byron’s entire team became the determining factor in his fifth Cup series win. All in all, it was a great day for the Hendrick Motorsports team.
