The LA Lakers need this version of AD
Anthony Davis played tonight like the Lakers have wanted him to play for years. AD has been the ‘Robin’ to LeBron’s ‘Batman’ ever since he joined the Lake Show. But the Lakers would love for Davis to carry their franchise and take the responsibility off LeBron’s shoulders because of his age. AD’s monster performance tonight shows that he has the ability to dominate any opponent if he plays his best basketball. He just needs to be consistent in his performances so that the Lakers can count on him during crucial games.
The Lakers won their most recent Championship in 2020, and Anthony Davis’ performance was a big reason for their success. He was healthy throughout the season and had some of the best numbers of his career. AD averaged 27.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in the 2020 playoffs, winning his first NBA Championship.
