Beal has missed most of the Suns’ games due to various recurring injuries.

However, the 30-year-old hopes to return and play for the Suns during the hectic festive period. Beal, a father to three sons, shares a positive update on his injury status, as he seeks to alleviate the frustration experienced by his children.

In a recent interview with Marc J. Spears of Andscape, Beal alluded to the fact that this season has been a little rocky and that he hopes to play during Christmas for the sake of his three sons. He said, “I pray I’m ready for Christmas because my boys love to watch me play. And that’s been another thing that has kind of hit me in the chest this year. My kids are getting older and they’re starting to understand the game a little bit more. They’re understanding when dad plays, when dad doesn’t play. It frustrates them when dad doesn’t play.”

The “big-three” can’t win the coveted Larry O’Brien trophy on their own. They would need a roster with genuine quality and depth, which the Suns currently don’t possess.
