The earnings gap between Stephen Curry and Lamar

Curry is set to make $51.9 million in salary for his latest 2023-24 season, while Jackson will make $80 million. Curry adds more to his wealth by his lucrative endorsement deals, which are reportedly worth more than $20 million per year. However, even when you factor in all that, Jackson’s total earnings are still significantly higher. Curry still falls short when compared to Baltimore Ravens star quarterback, who is the NFL’s highest-paid star. The earnings gap between these highest-paid athletes is $28,084,385.

Jackson’s contract with the Ravens includes a signing bonus of $42 million and a guaranteed salary of $62 million over the next five seasons, making him the richest in the league. Apart from this, there is a bonus of up to $100 million in incentives.

How other NBA stars compare to the NFL’s top earner

When we look at other top earners in the NBA, Bron earns $47,607,3503 while Jokic has a salary of $46.9 million. Right before Jokic is Kevin Durant, who is earning $47,649,4331. James Harden makes $35,640,0005. While these are huge salaries, they still fall short when compared to Jackson’s NFL salary.

NFL players are compensated more for their individual performance than NBA players. This is because the league has a salary cap, which limits the amount of money they can spend on players. As a result, they have to pay their stars more to keep them in the long term.
