Amid the hype before the Knicks-Lakers contest, LeBron James highlighted his son’s new kicks. Bronny James created havoc in the NBA world by making a miraculous return after a cardiac arrest. The freshman guard made his NCAA debut this year and has been playing an impactful role in the USC uniform. On the other hand, his father paid tribute to him with a special gesture at tonight’s game.

Ahead of tonight’s game, James took to his Instagram stories and dropped a video of the new Nike LeBron 21 ‘USC Trojans’ colorway. These sneakers are an exclusive player-only edition and Bronny debuted those last month in the game against Colorado Buffaloes. Along with the video, LeBron also wrote, “@bronny exclusive kicks in the BIG (APPLE in emoji) tonight!!,” along with a flurry of fire emojis.

He dropped 24 points with 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the LA Lakers to a comfortable 113-105 win. The 39-year-old once again proved that he is the best in the business with his balling prowess.

The superstar’s multiple one-on-one against the NY Knicks star guard Jalen Brunson tonight stood tall as the proof for it. The Lakers brought in their physical dominance in the late end of the game and completely strangled the Knicks from scoring. Notably, in the last quarter, the LA team defended 7-minute stretch without letting a single bucket from the Knicks.

While the debut in the LeBron 21 ‘USC Trojans’ was a success for King James, it was far from good for James Jr.

Bronny James debuted his exclusive kicks last month. He sported the kicks against the Colorado Buffaloes. He had a poor game, without scoring a single bucket in his 0-7 FG record. And eventually, the team lost the game by 68-58 margin, reported Sports Illustrated.

The team currently stands at the bottom of the Pac-12 conference with a 9-13 overall record. The 19-year-old still needs a lot of time to amp up his game for his remaining years in college basketball.
