With the NBA All-Star Weekend right around the corner, the anticipation surrounding the spectacle has reached new heights. The NBA has left no stone unturned in order to ensure maximum fan engagement and entertainment. From state-of-the-art LED courts to the first ever NBA vs WNBA 3-Point Contest, which would include Stephen Curry and Sabrina Ionescu, the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend is groundbreaking in many ways.

Almost 125,000 fans would take a trip to Indianapolis for the All-Star Weekend. However, fans who couldn’t attend the event in person need not feel disappointed, as they will have plenty of options to enjoy it from the comfort of their homes. The NBA diehards will be overwhelmed with the number of choices they have of watching the NBA All-Star Weekend on television. Some of the most popular pundits, along with star current players, have been lined up for the star-studded weekend.

Which players and pundits have been lined up for the All-Star Weekend?

Fans watching the All-Star Weekend on television will get to watch two of the most entertaining pundits, as TNT have paired Charles Barkley with Draymond Green for an NBA All-Star Game ALTCAST on Sunday, which can be viewed on truTV and Max. TNT’s Chief Content Officer, Craig Barry, gave the rationale behind pairing Draymond and Barkley during an interview with the Athletic. He said, “It was really evident the chemistry between him (Draymond) and Charles. There was a lot of dialog and fun and provocative debate. It’s something that we think fans potentially want to see more of.”

Although Draymond Green is typically seen on the other side of the television screen, this time he hasn’t been chosen to take part in the event. Nevertheless, Draymond has won over TV viewers with his insightful commentary during his occasional appearances as a pundit.

Apart from Draymond, fans can also expect to see Boston Celtics’ star Jayson Tatum on television, as he will be an analyst for the 3-Point contest on Saturday. Tatum is also expected to be an analyst during “Steph vs Sabrina” Starry 3-Point Contest. truTV and Max’s altcast will also feature NBA legends such as Vince Carter and Carmelo Anthony.

ESPN have also announced their broadcasting team for the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game. Cassidy Hubbarth has been given the hosting duties for ESPN’s coverage of the Celebrity All-Star game. Hubbarth will also conduct interviews with players, coaches and celebrities during the event. She will be joined by Ryan Ruocco, who will provide play-by-play commentary, on ESPN’s broadcasting team. Richard Jefferson and Monica McNutt return as analysts, with a special guest appearance from Pat McAfee.
