Following this grave incident, the New York Knicks guard Josh Hart took to his X handle to drop a message for the youngster. He added, “Ty,” with a praying emoji. Following him, fans swarmed their social media handle and expressed their wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery for the Wisconsin boy.

More than the grave injury, the scenes of Haliburton’s teammates carrying him to the locker room visibly stunned everyone in the arena, as the star was in agonizing pain.

Following the injury, the Pacers’ official X handle revealed that the star had sustained a left hamstring strain and would not return to the game.

Moreover, the severity of the injury is yet to be disclosed by the team management. With extra motivation to seal the game, the Pacers went on to restrict the Celtics without Hali’s presence.

The short-handed Pacers silence the Celtics

When Haliburton left the arena with 3-odd minutes left in the first half, the Pacers were 6 points short of the Celtics. While it looked like a cakewalk for the visitors, considering the last outing, the short-handed Pacers put up an all-round performance.

Benedict Mathurin came off the bench and led the team’s offense with 26 points, supported by six other players with double-digit points. Notably, the bench alone dropped 75 points.

Despite the collective effort, it all came down to the final few seconds of the game as it was tied at 131 with 43 seconds remaining on the clock. It went down till the last second, where Maturin extracted a foul and dropped two free throws to take home a 133-131 win.
