The Golden State Warriors have the highest payroll in the NBA. They pay a staggering $207,244,576 to thirteen players. Whereas, the Suns have the third-highest payroll in the league. They allocate a total of $186,486,803 in salaries among sixteen players.

It’s widely known that both Steph Curry and Kevin Durant are the highest-earning players on their respective teams. So we take a look at the richest players between the Suns and Warriors, besides KD and Curry.

The richest player between the Warriors and Suns is Klay Thompson. As per Forbes, he has $60.9 million in 2023 alone. Klay will earn $40.9 million through NBA salary and the rest through endorsements.

Second on the list is Draymond Green, with a net worth of around $60 million. Recently, Green signed a four-year contract extension worth $100 million. The third richest player is the new Suns recruit, Bradley Beal. Beal will earn $43.3 million from his NBA contract, while also pocketing $6.5 million through endorsements.

Fourth on the list is Devin Booker, the homegrown star of Phoenix. In 2023, his total earnings amount to $39.9 million, with $8 million stemming from endorsement deals. The last player on the list is veteran point “god” Chris Paul. Paul will pocket $31.1 million through NBA salaries. Additionally, he boasts lucrative endorsement deals with various companies, contributing an extra $8 million to his income.

Steph and KD way ahead of their teammates

In 2023, Stephen Curry is expected to rake in a staggering $101.9 million, with a substantial $50 million coming from endorsements. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant’s total earnings for the same period will reach $88.4 million. It boosted significantly by his $42 million in endorsement deals.

In April, Curry renewed his collaboration with Under Armour and assumed the role of president for UA’s Curry Brand. Under Armour has also offered stock options worth $75 million, which vest in 2029 and 2034. KD followed in LeBron’s footsteps and signed a lifetime contract with Nike in 2023.
