King James is the only active player left from the legendary 2003 draft class and has been the face of the league for over two decades. Winning 4 NBA titles and reaching 10 finals in 20 seasons, the Lakers Superstar has etched his name in NBA history for eternity. Defying Father Time, the 19-time All-Star is still averaging monster numbers.

But there is another NBA superstar who has not missed a step since he arrived in the league in 2007. His name is Kevin Durant. And, Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal surprisingly wants the world to put some respect on the 2-time Champion’s name.

The Slim Reaper is ready to enter his 17th season in the NBA. Shaq and Chuck are constantly trolling the 2-time Champion on “Inside The NBA” for being a “Bus Rider” on the Warriors Championship team. So, it came as a surprise when Big Diesel asked the world to acknowledge KD’s greatness on his Instagram story.

The Hall of Famer appreciated the longevity of Durantula, who is still playing at an elite level, just like his rival King James. Even after missing an entire season with a torn Achilles in the 2019 NBA finals, KD returned as an All-Star level player for the Brooklyn Nets. The 13-time All-Star has not skipped a beat since he arrived in the NBA. Even last season, he averaged 26 points for the Phoenix Suns. With 3 years left on his current contract, the 34-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down.

After a failed Big 3 union in Brooklyn, KD has joined forces with superstars Devin Booker and Bradley Beal in Phoenix.

With a deadly offensive trio, the Phoenix Suns have instantly become a major threat to win the NBA Championship next season. Next season will be very important for Durant’s legacy as he cannot afford to fail with another Big 3 in his career. Entering his 17th season, the former MVP will look to capitalize on the time he has left in the league.
