Despite the Denver Nuggets securing the NBA championship title, the basketball world’s current focal point remains Ja Morant, the standout player from the Memphis Grizzlies. Consequently, the young basketball star has faced several suspensions. Unfortunately, it appears that Ja Morant continues to encounter setbacks, as he was recently observed with a questionable object during one of his live social media broadcasts that prove that he was innocent.
In March, Ja Morant faced an eight-game suspension after being witnessed displaying a firearm in an adult club. His actions drew strong criticism from both fans and critics alike. Months later, the Grizzlies star found himself in a similar situation when he was observed showcasing a gun during an Instagram Live session. Following Ja Morant’s second instance of displaying a gun on his Instagram Live according to TMZ, the following day, he was observed using the same gun to light candles. It was speculated that this action suggested the gun may have been fake or non-functional. However, Morant did not explicitly address whether the weapon was real or fake in a public statement.
According to reports, the NBA has imposed a suspension on Ja Morant for approximately 25 games starting from the next season, which could significantly affect the Memphis Grizzlies’ chances of making the playoffs. This season, the Grizzlies were eliminated from the NBA playoffs in six games by the Los Angeles Lakers.
