Ben Simmons finally got his wish. He had requested a trade at the start of the season and after months of speculation, it finally happened. Simmons was traded to the Brooklyn Nets along with Seth Curry and Andre Drummond. On the other hand, the Philadelphia 76ers got James Harden and Paul Millsap in exchange.

The Nets are excited to acquire Simmons as Harden wasn’t happy with the situation in Brooklyn and wanted out. With this trade, the Nets locker room seems uplifted. They will want to see Ben Simmons in a Nets uniform soon. But unfortunately, that might take a while.

But make no mistake, Ben is one of the best players in the league when he’s healthy. He may be hesitant to shoot or unable to take threes, but his vision is otherworldly. Ben is one of the fastest players in the league and he is also one of the most athletic. Furthermore, he is also one of the best defenders in the league.

The Nets will hope that they will get this version of Ben Simmons as, with KD next to this side, he has the opportunity to learn from one of the greatest scorers of all time.
