The Memphis Grizzlies have a good record of 7-3 for the season so far. Grizzlies guard Ja Morant has been going strong as well. The young player has turned heads with his performances. However, his recent response to a question has been put under the microscope. He was asked which team has the best backcourt in the league. But does his answer stem from bias or facts?

Though Ja Morant has been incredible, fans questioned his blanket statement about his team. They teased the player for his apparent ignorance and lack of recognition for the Cavaliers and the Warriors.

Ja Morant asserted that his team has the best backcourt in the entire league. Fans quickly reacted to his statement.

Is Ja Morant accurate in his claims?

The Cavaliers have grown and improved their backcourt. Their set of versatile players has helped contribute to the game. Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell have rocked this season. On game night against Boston, their combined total was 54 points and 18 assists. The team has been on a winning spree. They have 6 games already.

The Warriors have a solid backcourt. It’s led by a strong trio of Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole, and Klay Thompson. There is more than 1 reason why they are the defending champions.

The Grizzlies’ backcourt is one of the best for sure. The No.2 overall pick behind Zion Williamson declared that he and Desmond Bane formed the best backcourt in the NBA. They have been quite lethal. His claims can’t be dismissed at any point. The duo has combined an average of 50.7 points. They have been the primary reason for their winning streak.
