Brother Seth Once Firmly Asserted That He Was a Better Shooter Than Stephen Curry

Stephen Curry and shooting are almost synonymous at this point in time. The Golden State Warriors star, showed the world his elite shooting prowess ever since his inception in the league. Moreover, he officially passed, Ray Allen, last year to become the best three-point shooter of all time.

However, Steph’s brother, Seth Curry, once revealed that Steph wasn’t the best shooter since his childhood. In fact, Seth was a better shooter than Steph while growing up.

Talking in an interview, the host asked Seth whether he is a better shooter than Steph. Seth replied, “I think so. We have our battles in the backyard.” When further asked whether he beat Steph in the backyard battles, he replied, “Of course, from a young age.“

This season, Stephen Curry shot 43.7 % from the field. On the other hand, Seth Curry shot 49.3% during the 19 games for the Brooklyn Nets while shooting 48.5% in 45 games for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Stephen Curry and his brother Seth, are one of the best sibling duos to ever play in the NBA. While Steph is regarded as one of the all-time greats, Seth has had a rather slow start to his career.

However, Seth has put in a good shift whenever he has played against his elder brother. The two brothers have faced off on 16 occasions out of which 4 have come in the playoffs.

Needless to say, the better player, Stephen Curry has the edge over his brother. Steph has 13 wins to his name out of the 16 he has played against his brother.

In the games, Steph averaged 28.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 7.1 assists. On the other hand, Seth averaged 9.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in the games against his brother. (Source: landofbasketball.com)
