If the finals rematch weren’t enough to get people excited, the celebrities in Chase Center would as the Golden State Warriors tried to fend off the number one team in the league, the Boston Celtics. Two comedic legends were in attendance to see Stephen Curry’s magic against the leading group in the NBA.

Comedic legends Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock were both in attendance at Chase Center during the Celtics vs Warriors game. The two were seen sitting next to each other with courtside seats.

Two comedic legends in attendance for the finals rematch

The two could be seen talking to each other with Chappelle covering his mouth while saying something to Chris Rock. And for the two to witness the game between the Celtics and Warriors makes sense.

These two teams met in the NBA finals where the Golden State Warriors ended up triumphing over the Boston Celtics. The Celtics seem to be on a mission this season to not only make it back to the finals but hopefully win as well.

But seeing these two legends in attendance gave fans a kick as they went to Twitter to share their excitement. One fan tweeted, “Childhood heroes.”

While another fan commented, “Dave is the only great comedian there.”

While some fans were happy to see these two comedians hanging out together, some brought up the infamous incident between Chris Rock and Will Smith.

As for the game, Stephen Curry ended the first quarter with a 30-foot stepback three-pointer. He performed a series of dribble moves to create space and then shot a rainbow three over a 6’8 power forward.

And it was not just Curry who has been dazzling fans sitting in Chase Center. Looks like Klay Thompson may be having another big game as he already had 30 points as they were in the fourth quarter. 

The Warriors will be looking to avoid losing their third game in a row after losing their last two games. The Celtics on the other hand are already on a three-game winning streak, looking to make it four in a row.
