After a rather solid win against the Nuggets, the Lakers suffered a crushing loss against the Clippers in their next game. Coming into the game against the Blazers, the champions knew they had to win the game if they wanted to widen the gap between them and Portland.
While AD put on an absolute show with his 36 point performance, the rest of the side faltered and struggled to find the net. This was especially true for players like Kyle Kuzma and Wesley Matthews, who only scored a combined 10 points.
