The debate about the best player in the NBA has been going berserk lately. While LeBron James has been on the throne for a while now, there has been a constant pressure my players like Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant, who put up monstrous numbers on a regular basis.
After missing the 2020 playoffs, Durant made his much awaited return in this season’s post-season. While his team crashed out against the Bucks in the second round, Durant was fabulous in the series.
Putting up a 49-point triple double, KD put on a masterclass as he carried his team to force a game 7. His performance against Milwaukee has led to many claiming Durant has indeed become a challenger to ‘The King‘ and might dethrone him in the near future.

Scottie Pippen makes hysterical error in latest LeBron James take
Scottie Pippen has been in the news lot lately. The former 6-time champion recently had a public back and forth with Kevin Durant after his comments of explaining why LeBron James is a better player and leader than the ‘Slim Reaper’.

During a discussion on ESPN’S the First Take, Pippen reiterated the same as he tweeted out that ‘King James’ had indeed won the 2016 ring without any help, implying his ability to lead a lackluster supporting cast and understandably being the best.

This statement certainly raised a lot of eyebrows, as the Bulls’ legend also suggested that Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving quality players. Stephen A. Smith was certainly not a fan of the same, as the veteran analyst snapped and called out Pippen for his ‘Blasphemous’ take.

After a pretty intense back and forth between Smith and Pippen, the former 6-time champion realized the mistake he had made in his original take. In a recent tweet, the 11-time All-Star clarified that his original comments were about the 2015 Finals.

LeBron’s efforts against the Warriors in the 2015 Finals was certainly commendable. Despite missing Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love through injuries, ‘King James’ was able to lead his side to the NBA Finals.
