“How He This Old Getting Scammed by Crypto”: 42-Year-Old Miami Legend Getting Taken to the Cleaners in $15 Million FTX Fall Leaves NBA Twitter Perplexed

After the Miami Heat decided to cut ties with FTX, the crypto company is still somehow hampering the team. The latest news update revealed that the now-bankrupt company managed to cause the Heat legend, Udonis Haslem, to lose out on a ton of money. And even though it wasn’t as much of a loss that Tom Brady sustained, the amount is still big for the aging great.
FTX was the second-largest cryptocurrency exchange and crypto fund company. But recently, the company filed for bankruptcy, losing about $152 billion overall. NFL legend Tom Brady too had a 0.14% share in the company.

Tom Brady’s reported total loss came up to a staggering $45 million in damages. And even if that may be just a blip in his net worth, the same cannot be said for Udonis Haslem. According to reports, Haslem lost about $15 million through an equity share in the company.
Haslem said, “I got gypped out of $15 million. That’s what my equity had grown to. He didn’t dupe me. I signed a contract with a company and that’s part of it. A lot of people got hurt, and that’s where I feel sad.”
