Anthony Edwards is not an exceptionally tall athlete, as he stands just above Curry at six-feet-four. Though his playing style is different from that of the Warriors’ point guard, Edwards is a huge fan of the two-time MVP.
“I’ve been watching him on TV for a minute and it ain’t fake,” Edwards hailed Curry. “It ain’t fake news, it’s real. He’ll just take on, dribble and pull up from deep and shoot like it’s nothing. I was watching him warm-up and was like, ‘That’s crazy.'”

Steph Curry notched up his seventh thirty-point game of the season against Minnesota and made seven of his twelve attempted three-pointers to close out the game at Chase Center. Anthony Edwards was in awe of his performance post-game.
Edwards was asked why the Wolves failed to win the game in the closing minutes, and he replied: “Steph Curry. I mean … s–t, he came in and scored like 12 points straight by himself. That was the difference,” Edwards said.
“We brought it down, came back and fought back, and then he just like extended the game, made it even harder,” the 19-year-old added.

This was the first-time Andrew Wiggins faced the Wolves after being traded by them in February 2020. This was a big moment in his career, and the 25-year-old put on a delightful performance.
“It’s all good playing against my former team. They still have some guys left, so it was good to see them, catch up and compete,” Wiggins said. “It’s all love for those guys. It’s part of the business.”
