“It’s Time to Move On”: Kevin Durant’s Nets Dropping the Hammer on Kyrie Irving Amid Future Woes Draws Polarizing Reactions on Twitter
The trade deadline is just around the corner and lately, Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving dropped a bomb with his trade request. According to The Athletic and ESPN, the eight-time All-Star wants to leave Kevin Durant and co. either before the trade deadline or after this season ends as a free agent. As a result of this, a recent report suggested that the Nets are “determined” to fulfill the superstar’s wish. Meanwhile, shortly after the report was shared, it elicited the attention of many fans, prompting them to reflect on the affair on social media.
Irving joined the Nets in 2019 in search of another championship title. However, despite several attempts, he was unable to get his hands on one with the Nets so far. Therefore, as of now, the 30-year-old is apparently looking for a new challenge in the league.

Recently, the Nets dropped the hammer on Kyrie Irving amid his trade requests. ESPN’s Adrain Wojnarowski shed some light on the current situation. He wrote on Twitter, “The Nets are proceeding in talks as though they’re determined to find a deal for Irving ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline, sources said.”
Interestingly many franchises like the Dallas Mavericks, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Phoenix Suns have reportedly shown some interest in the eight-time All-Star. Recently, the Los Angeles Clippers also joined the fray. Therefore, there is a high chance that the 30-year-old ends up in another franchise just before the trade deadline.

as they should kyrie has made his intentions clear he's gone after this season. unless he gets his money the nets don't want to do that. so rather then lose him for nothing find a deal and move on from this pain in the ass.
