The National Basketball Association is always experimenting with the game. They always try to find innovative ways in which the game can become more enjoyable for the fans. The NBA never shies away from trying out new things, which will in turn make the game more fun and interactive for the fans. Over the years, they have tried out multiple things.

From allowing players to draft their teams for the All-Star event to having a new scoring system in these games. These innovations make the game more interesting. But it looks like one of basketball’s present superstars and the future face of the league wants this particular thing back.

In 2014, for a game between Miami Heat and the Brooklyn Nets, players were allowed to wear a jersey with their nicknames on their back.
