James Harden Gets an Iconic Picture With NBA Legend Reggie Miller After Breaking His Stellar All-Time Record

James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers took on his old team, the Brooklyn Nets, on Thursday. Harden has a had great start with the Sixers and he was undefeated with his new team coming into the game. He was also on the verge of breaking an all-time record of an NBA legend.
Harden was tied for third all-time for most three-pointers made in NBA history with Indiana Pacers legend Reggie Miller. And he broke his record in the first quarter itself as he hit his patented step-back three over his former teammate Kyrie Irving.

After the game, Miller congratulated Harden for passing him, as he did with Ray Allen and Stephen Curry. He even took a photo commemorating the occasion.

Harden would have wanted to enjoy this feat with a win, but the Sixers got absolutely humiliated by the Nets. Ben Simmons returned to Philly after being traded and he was met with a shower of boos. Even though he didn’t play, Simmons was on the bench to support his teammates. And they did not disappoint as they blew the Sixers out of the building.

However, James Harden got his moment in the first few minutes and the crowd acknowledged it. Harden did not start off his career as a great three-point shooter, but he slowly improved to become a major threat. He shot consistently over 35% from beyond the arc. And later on in his career, he became a high-volume shooter. Harden used to shoot over 10 3’s a game while he was at his peak in Houston. While he didn’t shoot that high volume during his time at the Nets, at the Sixers, he is all poised to get back to being an elite shooter.
