LaMelo Ball’s Father Takes Aim at Michael Jordan: “What Advice Is He Going to Give Him?”

Aspiring young NBA players often choose Michael Jordan in unison when inquired about which player has inspired them. Jordan, over the course of his illustrious NBA career, captured the hearts and minds of many NBA fans. He also helped the NBA gain a worldwide audience worldwide.
Considering this, it surprised fans when an upcoming NBA star’s father took shots at Jordan.
LaMelo Ball’s father LaVar Ball made some surprising comments about Jordan. He plays for the Charlotte Hornets an NBA franchise owned by Jordan. In an interview, the hosts questioned LaVar Ball if his son sought advice from Jordan while playing for the Hornets.

“Never! What advice is he going to give? When was the last time he won a championship?” he said.

LaMelo Ball joined the Hornets in 2020 after they chose him with the third overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft. His debut for the Hornets was less than ideal as he went scoreless as they lost against the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, since then, he has proven himself to be a key player at the Hornets.
Jordan acquired majority ownership at the Hornets in 2010 and this made him the first former NBA player to own a franchise.

Michael Jordan-owned Hornets face defeat as LaMelo Ball misses game against the 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers fought their way to a closely contested victory against the Charlotte Hornets at the Spectrum Center. This is sure to be a concern to Hornets’ owner Michael Jordan, as the franchise has lost five of their last six games. The 76ers held off the Hornets to a 110-106 win.
LaMelo Ball was a sore miss for the Hornets as he missed the game due to NBA health and safety protocols. In his absence, Gordon Hayward scored 31 points while Kelly Oubre Jr. scored 22 points. 76ers’ talisman Joel Embiid led the Sixers scoring 32 points followed by Seth Curry with 23 points. The Hornets will host the Sacramento Kings next at Spectrum Center.
