“LeBron Playing Like Westbrook”: Angry Lakers Fans Riot Over Unreal Scenes as Jazz Stun Cryptocenter

The Los Angeles Lakers could not make it three wins in a row as they lost to the Utah Jazz in their latest matchup. The Lakers had good momentum going as they had won two games in a row after starting the season with five straight losses. Despite their efforts, the Utah Jazz was too much for the Lakers to handle as the contest ended 116-130 at the Crypto.com Arena.
They shot 42.3% from beyond the arc, shooting 11-26 from the field. And based on their previous shooting nights from three, this was certainly an improvement. But the Lakers will have to knock down shots consistently if they want to get out of this rut.

What is going on with the Lakers?
The Los Angeles Lakers arguably still need to add three-point shooters to the team, players who live beyond the arc and can knock down consistent threes during the game. Another issue that the Lakers might have at the moment is the aging of LeBron James.
Even though LeBron almost had a triple-double for the game, he had an off-night while shooting the ball from the field and from beyond the three-point line. In fact, he went 7-19 from the field and was 0-5 from beyond the arc.

The four-time champion will turn 38 in December, and it seems like his age is finally starting to catch up to him. James seemed a step off his game against the Utah Jazz. It will be interesting to see whether he features in the Lakers’ next game against his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Fans and analysts have been blaming Russell Westbrook for the downfall of the team for some time now. Westbrook has certainly not performed well this season and has made some questionable plays in late-game situations.
However, in the last game against the Jazz, Westbrook was the team’s leading scorer. He ended the night with 26 points, shooting 9-14 from the field, 3-5 from the three-point line, and going a perfect 5-5 from the free-throw line as well.
