Big Game James, w/ the Big 'FIRST Step'. His thrust was so powerful he wore out that leg; got all the mileage out of it. In the late 1970's – early 80s, I owned LMU gym, until LAKERS showed up for practice. TRUTH – if Worthy could dribble with left had, you'd be chasing him at SF

James Worthy played a 12-season-long NBA career and only wore purple and gold jersey throughout his career. Moreover, 5x NBA Champion Dennis Rodman was considered one of the most aggressive defensive players in the NBA. But, Rodman considered Worthy as the most difficult player to face. He once said, “I still couldn’t guard his [James Worthy] a**. He’d come off a screen, and I’d try to see if he was going over the top or underneath. Next thing I knew, he was at the rim.”
