It’s time for Anthony Davis to put the slander to bed

AD in the previous season, was sub-par at best, given his talent, skill and past performances in the NBA. While Davis averaged 27.7ppg/9.7rpg/3.5apg in the 2019-20 playoffs, shooting it at over 57.3% from the field, experts penciled in him in for a monster 2020-21 season.

However, he looked off his game averaging 21.8ppg/7.9rpg/3.1apg in 2021, still recovering from a strenuous bubble run. Furthermore, his shooting percentages from the field and FT line also plummeted, decreasing by 8% & 12% respectively.

While it’s still way too early, AG Sports Betting has penciled in Anthony Davis with the lowest odds to win the MVP in the coming season. Giannis, Luka and Durant have topped the odds chart as favorites to win the award. And while AD’s talent and skill are on similar levels, it will be his sheer determination to prove a point that could see him soar next season.
