Rapper Drake is one of the Toronto Raptors’ huge fans. Now and then he can be seen courtside during NBA games, especially the Raptors’ games. Over the years, fans have accused him of being a bandwagon too. But the Canadian rapper has always maintained that he is a Raptors fan. 

Drake is not just a basketball fan, he can play a bit himself. Recently, a video of him getting buckets during a pickup game made the rounds. It turns out that he isn’t the only one in the family that can hoop as Drake’s son Adonis sunk some shots as well. Looks like it runs in the family. Interestingly, Adonis was wearing a Raptors jersey.

As a proud father, Drake shared an adorable video of himself and his son via an Instagram story. Drake asked, “Yo, where you learn to shoot like that?” Adonis shrugged and replied, “I don’t know.”

“You went four for five, you’re cash right now!” Drake was impressed. But it wasn’t new to young Adonis who replied, “Yeah, I know.”

Then Drake asked his son where he learned to shoot like that, and Adonis replied that he learned that in school. This adorable exchange between Drake and his son is warming millions of fans around the world.

The Toronto Raptors finished the 2021-22 regular season with a record of 48 wins and 34 losses. With this record, they clinched the 5th seed in the Eastern Conference. In the playoffs, they were matched up against the Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers finished the regular season with a record of 51 wins and 31 losses and sealed the 4th seed.

With MVP contender Joel Embiid on their side along with James Harden and Tyrese Maxey, the 76ers won the first 3 games comfortably. And Drake was in attendance for game 3, which was played at the home of the Raptors. 

And after the game, Embiid was seen trash-talking with Drake. Embiid said that he is going for the sweep and that the Raptors will be swept in the next game. But Drake was confident and told Joel that his beloved Raptors will win game 4.

And the Raptors didn’t disappoint Drake as they won game 4 in Toronto and made Joel eat his words. Then things got interesting when the Raptors won game 5 in Philadelphia to make the series 3-2. And there was a lot of nervous energy around the 76ers because Doc Rivers had a woeful record for losing out a series after leading 3-1.

But the 76ers persisted as they won game 6 to advance to the next round. Where they were eventually eliminated by the Miami Heat.
