Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis has come out recently with a startling confession that he hasn’t touched a basketball since the 5th of April when he played his last regular-season game. It has made him a target of criticism from ex-players, pundits, and fans. Former Indiana Pacers guard Reggie Miller is among the voices who have criticized Anthony Davis for this revelation.

Miller, who was on Dan Patrick’s podcast, was asked about this. “What is this, seriously?” was the former player’s first response. Patrick, then, asked what was worse: Davis saying it or actually doing it. “Saying it because first of all, this is your job,” says Miller, “This is why the Lakers were in the predicament they were. Has LeBron come back on top and said dude, what the hell?” He continued, saying, ” LeBron should be disappointed in this. He is shooting in the front yard of his house with his kids right now.”

Dan Patrick then enquired Miller about how much rest did he take after the season ended. Miller mentioned that he did not touch the basketball for a maximum of two to three weeks, after which he will go to the gym. He did that for the first month and ramped it up in the subsequent months.

“He missed a lot of games. Why are you taking time off?” mentioned Miller in the interview. He mentioned about how LeBron’s legacy is at stake with Davis’ attitude and that he doesn’t need too much rest, after playing only 40-50 games this season.
