In his book, Pippen, who was disappointed after watching the show, called his former teammate selfish and self-glorifying. In a series of interviews after, the 7-time All-star has termed himself to be as good as Jordan, and claimed that ‘His Airness’ has ruined basketball. But now, he has denied that any of his comments were out of hatred.

If popular analyst Charles Barkley is to be believed, he says that Pippen has written so much against Jordan only to sell books. On the other hand, the 6-time NBA winner dished out in a recent interview that he has no grudge against his legendary partner. “I’m not saying in any way that I have a grudge against Michael Jordan,” Pippen said on WGN News. “This book has nothing to change our relationship.” He admitted that if they ran into each other henceforth, he would continue to greet the 58-year-old in the same manner.
