During his conversation, he shared some pretty powerful words about how great power comes with great responsibility. Furthermore, he mentioned how many people can be influenced by each action they take.
In the conversation, the Los Angeles Lakers legend even called him an “idiot” because of his actions. “I was probably one of the first guys on Twitter, and when I realized the power it had, I knew I had to be very responsible. Followers, platform, whatever you call it, I knew I had to be responsible,” Shaq explained.
Aside from that, he also discussed whether Irving is conscious of the internet and mentioned how he does not care what is going on. As well as this, he points out how actions like these divide the game.

The answer Kyrie Irving offered to this concern was that he is not promoting antisemitism in any way. Furthermore, he explained that these words used against him are unjustified. “I’m not here to argue over a culture or a person or a religion and what they believe. This is what is here. It’s on a public platform,” he exclaimed.
“It hurts me sometimes when we have to sit up here to talk about stuff that divides the game. That we gotta answer for what this idiot has done.”
