Shaquille O’Neal Uses Kanye West Song to Roast LeBron James’ Lakers: “Rich A** Kids, This Ain’t Your Mama House”

Making constant appearances on NBA’s TNT analysis shows, Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal has expressed his disappointment over LeBron James and co. multiple times. But none worse than his most recent roast of the side. Evidently unhappy with how his former franchise is going about the 2021-22 season, Shaq made a hilarious Kanye West reference to snub the team on his podcast.
As it was feared at the beginning of the season, LeBron James is carrying the Lakers this year. Sure, the Buss family made some gains by sending out the likes of Gasol and Caldwell-Pope; but the acquisitions haven’t impressed all that well. It seems like a game of two halves whenever the men in yellow and purple step out on court; when the offense excels, the defense lets them down. And vice versa. And 49-year-old O’Neal, who seldom had such contrasting games, has lashed out at Frank Vogel’s men.

In their most recent encounter, the Lakers suffered defeat at the hands of a depleted Indiana Pacers. You can argue that the roster is missing Anthony Davis, but the system in itself comes off as clearly mismanaged. The retired 15-time All-star, however, didn’t like what he was seeing. A fan of popular artist Kanye West, Shaq quoted his lyrics to roast the Lakers recently.

On the ‘Big Podcast With Shaq’, the former center-forward repeated lines from Kanye’s song ‘Eazy’. “You hear that song?” Shaq asked the fellow speakers. “Kanye went off on that song. He said rich a** kids, this ain’t your mama house, climb on top of your brother’s shoulders, get that top ramen out.” To nobody’s surprise, Shaq nailed the lyrics and destroyed the Lakers in the process.
