She used the platform to urge the people to send encouraging messages to Griner’s way, who has been stuck in Russia for over eight months. She was detained in Russian after vape cartridges filled with cannabis oil were found in her luggage at the Moscow Airport in February.

Cherelle revealed that BG was not okay and was frustrated about not being able to do much to relieve her pain. However, Cherelle Griner believed that the love and support from people would certainly inspire Brittney Griner to keep fighting. Griner’s wife stated, “But I believe from the bottom of my heart that while I can’t bring her back, words can make a difference.”
