Stephen Curry Gives Encouraging Update About a Comeback From “Weird” Injury Amid Warriors Injury Crisis

The Golden State Warriors are having a better stretch of the season, having gone on a five game winning streak. Currently ranked ninth in the Western Conference. Soon enough, the team’s most valuable player should be returning to the field. During a recent interview, Stephen Curry provided an encouraging update on his comeback from a “Weird” injury amid the Warriors’ injury crisis. “Everything is heading in the right direction in terms of getting back. Hopefully next week.”

This is in addition to how he mentioned undergoing the injury and getting back to playing as soon as possible. It is evident that he is eager to play with his teammates. Furthermore, Warriors GM Bob Myers also shared some reports regarding Curry’s injury during an interview with a Bay Area radio station.

As early as January 13 is expected to be Curry’s return date to the court. By the time Warrior faces the San Antonio Spurs, there is an expectation that he will be able to play. He has a few days to recover from his shoulder injury.

The last time he was seen playing was back on December 14, which was two and a half weeks ago. During a game against the Indiana Pacers, he suffered a subluxation of the shoulder. After undergoing the injury treatment, he was expected to return to court in a few weeks without surgery.

The Warriors are having a good season right now, but fans are eagerly awaiting the return of their star player to see how things turn out. With him returning, there is sure to be a blast as social media reported after Myres made this statement during an interview.

“He’s gonna get evaluated this weekend, and he’s working out on the court,” Myers explained. “The two-week mark to evaluate him would be this weekend, but there’s been no setbacks or anything like that. The first road game is Friday in San Antonio.”

After the loss and injury, many expected the warrior‘s situation to worsen as they lost three games out of their next four games. However, after that, they showed a marked improvement in their performance.
