Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry belongs to an elite family of athletes. His father, Dell is a former NBA star and his younger brother, Seth, also plays in the NBA. Moreover, his mother also played college-level volleyball and basketball. Needless to say, Steph Curry is the most accomplished player out of the three.

Seth rejected a chance to play at Davidson college like his elder brother. Instead, he played for Liberty University and he was slowly establishing himself as a top prospect. Seth Curry’s college coach said, “He was better at creating his shot than anybody I’ve ever seen at 18 years old.”

However, an unfortunate injury ruined it all for him. With his NBA future looking bleak, Dell Curry and Seth’s agent devised a plan. He would play around 2 seasons in the D-League with the hopes of reaching the NBA.

In case that didn’t happen, Dell would’ve sent his younger son overseas in order to earn a living. Interestingly enough, Dell also once forced his wife, Sonya Curry to live alone. According to Sonya, she wasn’t allowed inside the house by Dell following their feud and cheating allegations from both sides.
