Recently, Gilbert Arenas sat down with RJ Hampton for a one-on-one interview. During the interview, he revealed a few intriguing facts regarding Kobe Bryant. Arenas started the conversation by expressing that Bryant was not his toughest opponent, as he never guarded him much. Moreover, he added how Kobe always used to poke him whenever the two faced each other on the court. Thereafter, considering this, Hampton threw a question to Arenas regarding Kobe’s trash-talking. Subsequently, the Wizards veteran acceded to his query along with redefining Kobe’s trash-talking.

He complimented his trash-talking and continued by terming it as “intelligent”. Moreover, Arenas added regarding Bryant, “He made you always second guess everything you’re doing.” Thereafter, he supported his claim by showing how Bryant used to trash talk on the court. Lastly, the three-time NBA All-Star finished off by saying, “That was more of a mental war,” in regard to playing against the Black Mamba.
