“That’s What Me Said”: Wife Ayesha Toys With Husband Stephen Curry After He Releases Latest Promotion of Hosting a Massive Award Ceremony

Stephen Curry has had an insane season. The Golden State Warrior has added a couple of trophies to his already glittering trophy case. The point guard won the first-ever Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP award. He added to the list of silverware by winning the first ever Magic Johnson Western-Conference Finals MVP award. Moreover, Stephen Curry became a 4-time NBA champion in the post-season, taking him his first NBA Finals MVP trophy.

The superstar is not alien to winning. The ESPY’s announced that Curry has been nominated for the Best Athlete award, and there is the possibility that he could announce it himself. Stephen Curry has been chosen as the 2022 ESPY award show host. Furthermore, his wife, Ayesha Curry, was overjoyed as she shared a post of her husband in his latest ESPY promotion commercial.

Additionally, Curry has been nominated for ‘Best Record-Breaking Performance’ for beating the All-Time 3-point record at 2974 held by Ray Allen. Curry is also on the list of nominees for ‘Best NBA Player’ and is part of the ‘Best Team Award’ roster in the Golden State Warriors’ nomination. Teammate Klay Thompson, who has had one of the greatest comebacks after two years, is nominated for ‘Best Comeback Player.’ 

In short, Stephen Curry’s promo saw him multi-task between several sports like basketball, football, and golf. Later, he hinted that this off-season, he will try something he never has, which was hosting the award show ESPYs. His wife, Ayesha, shared this announcement on her Instagram for her 7.8 million followers.

Rumor has it that Stephen Curry might announce his own award! Curry was recently shooting an ESPYs promo as the show’s next host. It would be interesting to see Curry roast and banter around all the athletes as n ESPYs host is usually required to do.

In the promo, while showing his putting skills, he said “hole in one.” To this, Ayesha had a hilarious reply. She wrote, “That’s what me said.” This is a spin on the famous phrase ‘That’s what she said,’ from the show ‘The Office.’

Curry looks forward to hosting the ESPYs

Stephen Curry has been all over the media during his off-season. Moreover, since the Warrior won his fourth championship ring, he has been traveling the world and trending for brand new reasons. Curry was spotted playing an amateur golf tournament with Andre Iguodala, Seth Curry, and Charles Barkley.

Further, he was also seen parading in San Francisco. Perhaps the most interesting thing Steph is about to do is to host the ESPYs. Later, Steph shared his opinions on hosting for the first time in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter and talked about his excitement for his upcoming venture.

Curry said, “I’ve had the pleasure of attending The ESPYS but never imagined I’d have the privilege of hosting this special event.”
