‘Ultimate Competitor’: NBA Players Congratulate JJ Redick on His Retirement after 15 Years of NBA Career

The 37-YO guard JJ Redick announced his retirement yesterday after playing for 15 seasons in the NBA. In his last season, Redick was traded to Dallas Mavericks, and soon after the season ended, he has officially exited the court.

In the 2006 NBA Draft, Redick was the 11th overall pick by Orlando Magic. In all, he played for 6 teams throughout his career including LA Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, New Orleans Pelicans, and other stints. He averaged 12.8 points per game during his career’s regular-season games. Known for his shooting from beyond the arc, Redick has stunned many in the league with his abilities.
