Demar DeRozan’s incredible scoring streak of scoring 35 points or more came to an end on Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies. DeRozan ended the game with 31 points in a loss and he was also ejected at the end of the game. He was one game short of breaking the scoring record of Michael Jordan.

The Chicago Bulls were on a six-game winning streak and they have looked good coming out of the all-star game. The Grizzlies had an injury scare last game, as Ja Morant appeared to twist his leg. But he played in the game and he looked as fine as ever. The Bulls lost 116-110. Ja Morant ran riot as he finished with 46 points and made his case for MVP of the league.

The Grizzlies started off the game hot, and they built a healthy lead by the end of the first half. They built it to 17 at one point. But the Bulls fought back in the fourth. However, the Grizzlies held their composure as they have done all season long.

The end of the game was a bitter one for DeRozan. He had the ball at the end of the game and he had a chance to tie the game up. He drove inside and he was double-teamed. DeRozan ended up losing the ball, and he appeared to be fouled. But there was no call and DeRozan was furious at the refs. He confronted them, which led to his second tech of the game and an automatic ejection. He was angry all the way and was seen smashing a water cooler as he lost his cool.

This will be a disappointing loss for the Bulls and DeRozan. They were playing some excellent basketball, and this loss stops them in their tracks.

After his knee injury, Lonzo Ball has resumed running, and the Bulls have sorely missed him. They will hope that he and Lavine can support DeRozan, who has been playing like the MVP.
