Warriors Head Coach Puts LeBron James and Draymond Green on the Same Pedestal

Draymond Green is definitely on the list of the best NBA players on the defensive end. His defensive presence played a huge role in the Golden State Warriors dynasty. He even bagged the Defensive Player of the Year award in 2016-17. But let’s not forget the impact he makes on the other side of the court. However, his own coach thinks that if there is anybody who can impact the floor on both ends like him, it is LeBron James.
LeBron James is a master on both ends of the floor
Although LeBron is considered the GOAT of this generation, with that level of success, haters come and go. Despite proving what he can do for a team for almost two decades, the man is constantly under scrutiny. Even the tiniest mistakes he makes overshadows all the good he does.

So, when somebody genuinely speaks highly of Bron, it feels refreshing. In fact, people who publically show their support for him or even praise his game, are often attacked too. But what can anyone say to someone like Steve Kerr?

In an interview with Kerr, he was asked, “Does anybody in league have Draymond’s skillset to defend at that level and run an offense?”. His immediate response was “Maybe LeBron… obviously LeBron and Draymond are very different players. But just in terms of making an impact on both ends, having that size and that brain to control the game.”

The Warriors and Lakers got their revenge

Tonight, the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers had their shot to take revenge and come out victorious. While the Warriors had to defeat the Hornets after losing to them last time, the Lakers had to do the same against the Blazers.
Golden State won the game 130-121, improving their record to 19-15. And the Lakers got one step closer to regain their second position in the West after a 102-93 win.
It is clear that both Draymond Green and LeBron are doing wonders for their team. The Warriors, after a long time, have been showing shades of their old self. Will they be able to take on the reigning champions the next time they meet? Who will win the battle between LeBron and Draymond?
