The Miami Heat have gotten off to a great start this year. It looks like their ‘Heat Culture’ is finally paying dividends, as Erik Spoelstra’s men are off to a flyer. Currently sitting in 2nd, the side has overcome the likes of Luka Doncic’s Mavericks and Kevin Durant’s Nets. But this was not the case in their 8th game of the regular season, as a wounded Jaylen Brown spoiled the party. With about six seconds to go until the end of Q3, Butler and co. were on defensive duties. Robinson, who was guarding his man, flopped and tripped up. As the ball went out to the deep corner, the 27-year-old went sliding, and landed right on the ankle of a clueless Lowry. The 35-year-old All-star saw his left ankle take a bad hit, and hopped to the bench immediately after. He has reportedly sprained it. It was a bizarre sequence of events, following which Lowry sat the game out. For the Celtics, Brown also made way in the second half, but enough damage had been inflicted by then.
