If you are a fan of basketball, you must have seen the name Scottie Pippen in the news lately. The Hall of Famer has been making headlines with the release of his memoir, Unguarded, which contains some very controversial views. Pippen has accused Jordan of not being a team player after the release of “The Last Dance”.
“Each episode was the same: Michael on a pedestal, his teammates secondary, smaller, the message no different from when he referred to us back then as his ‘supporting cast,’ ” Pippen writes in the prologue. “They glorified Michael Jordan while not giving nearly enough praise to me and my proud teammates.”
A rare video of a Chicago Bulls player bullying Pippen has resurfaced, which seems to be taken in Pippen’s initial years with the Chicago Bulls.

Pippen’s initial years with the Bulls:
The viral video shows a young Scottie Pippen getting bullied by his teammate. He was just 22 when he made his debut for the Bulls. Pippen played for 11 seasons with the Bulls before joining the Houston Rockets.
The 7-time All-Star joined the Chicago Bulls in 1987. He was the 5th overall draft pick that year, which made him a part of the famous Bulls Team. That team won 6 championships with Michael Jordan leading the line.

Pippen became a regular for the Chicago Bulls during his rookie season itself. Pippen was an offensive threat with exceptional ball-handling and shooting skills. Long arms and quick footwork made him a force to reckon with in defense. Scottie made it to the NBA All-Defensive first-team ten times in his career.

Pippen and Jordan’s relationship may have deteriorated, but they were a force to reckon with on the court. Pippen and Jordan arguably were the best duo in the game and they played 691 games winning 6 NBA championships together.
Michael Jordan is the fifth-highest scorer while Scottie Pippen is one of the best defenders ever. This offensive-defensive partnership worked wonders for the team as the Bulls dominated the league.

The duo won a record 514 games when playing together and also they never lost in a final in which they played together. Interestingly, even Jordan had never won a final until the Bulls signed Pippen during the 1987 season, which shows why Pippen feels underappreciated when everyone talks about the Bulls and Michael Jordan.
