During one of his rants, O’Neal called Simmons a ‘crybaby‘ for the way he handled his situation with the 76ers. After a fallout with the team, Simmons did not play a single game for the Sixers during the 2021-22 season. He then joined the Brooklyn Nets with James Harden going the other way.

During the podcast, Nichelle Turner put out an interesting proposition of Shaq meeting Ben Simmons. Shaq didn’t look to agree with her. Moreover, shortly after this, Turner brought out something from Shaq’s past.

It is his history with free throws! She said, “I bet if he heard the story you are telling right now, how you were scared sh*tless at the free throw line, I bet that might do something for him.”

However, this sole tactic was not enough to slow him down as he retired being one of the greatest players ever.
