“Artists that stay the same get left behind,” said Marcus during a segment of the episode.

According to the eldest son of Michael Jordan, these musicians need their room “to create, be themselves,” etc. In order to help his beau and his listeners understand the context in a better light, Marcus took the example of millionaire and controversial rapper Kanye ‘Ye’ West.

“I feel like Ye, you know, from where he first started to obviously where he is at now, there has been a huge transition in journey.” Marcus added during the conversation. “Somebody that didn’t like ‘Yeezus’ might have liked, you know, his next album.”

Using Larsa’s former best friend’s ex as an example, the young Jordan put forward his opinion that artists need to be allowed the room to be themselves.

West’s alleged ‘anti-Semitic’ remarks led to his downfall

Kanye West had used his talents and international fame to garner a net worth of $2 billion dollars. After lobbying for many years, he was finally listed amongst Forbes’ list of billionaires in 2020. However, in just a few years, he lost a whopping $1.6 billion and allegedly added a bad mark to his own name.

It all started back in 2022, when West reportedly developed a stance against jews.

“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE” was a tweet that West put up on his handle. It resulted in him getting temporarily blocked from the social media site, only a few months before he was blocked from Instagram for allegedly engaging in a similar manner.

West received the bulk of his income from a partnership he developed with the German Apparel company Adidas.

With the general population turning up the heat and forcing the company to act, Adidas eventually dropped its partnership with the rapper. While it cost the company a significant amount of loss, it also caused West’s wealth to drop exponentially.
