Aside from being an extraordinary player, Michael Jordan has always displayed a strong entrepreneurial spirit. With the exception of his challenges in managing the Charlotte Hornets, his business acumen remained unquestioned. It’s fair to say that his eldest daughter is also astutely following in his footsteps. Most recently, she faced accusations of disloyalty to the Jordan Brand. However, Jasmine substantiated her position with strong photographic evidence.

Why did fans accuse Jasmine of disloyalty?

The Jordan Brand’s field representative updated her 178,000 Instagram followers on her gym progress. Her post was captioned, “Everything Natural, actual, Factual?Anodetothegym.”

While many offered support and left encouraging comments, some followers honed in on her choice of footwear. A few remarked that she wasn’t sporting Jordan shoes, with one comment stating, “Do you hear it for not wearing Jays?

Shortly after, Jasmine took to her Instagram story to clarify the mistake. She shared a photo that clearly displayed her pair of shoes, and a separate picture of the model to confirm that she was, in fact, wearing Jordans. Her message read, “Relax, y’all, my shoes are Jordan.”

For her gym session, she had chosen the Jordan Delta 3 Low. It appears that the 30-year-old has learned from past mistakes and is now following her father’s principles. While the world at large was infatuated with Jordans, the daughter of the Chicago Bulls legend once had a love for different shoes.

Michael Jordan threw his daughter’s shoes in the trash

As a teen, Jasmine always wanted to wear the trendy Skechers, which were the popular choice at the time. As a child, she frequently sported these shoes, but her famous father, the owner of Jordan Brand, was not fond of her choice.

He would allow Jasmine to wear them for just a day, after which he would discard them. In an interview, Jasmine revealed, “It didn?t matter what pair they were; It didn?t matter who bought them. If they were in his house and on my feet, by the next day, they were in the trash.”

Much praise to Michael Jordan for allowing his daughter to enjoy her favorite shoes for a day. Additionally, wearing a different shoe brand by such an important member associated with the Jordan Brand would be quite unconventional. Imagine Mark Zuckerberg using Brand X. Nevertheless, with her new responsibilities, Jasmine is clearly ahead of her competitors. What are your thoughts? Do tell us in the comments below.
