In her final matchup at the gym, the 17-year-old was in complete control of her game. Whether it was passing, scoring, or defense, the younger O’Neal looked like a replica of her legendary father.

Taking to Instagram, the newest member of the Florida Gators would showcase her skills in a highlight reel from the night. “Last Home Openers hit different!!” In the clip, Me’Arah can be seen showcasing her complete dominance over the game.

Even though she has the right mentality, the collegiate scene is a wholly different animal. Without any familial connections like those at LSU, how will her new career shape out? While dominant on the high school level, can she replicate the same success with the Gators?

With a new career overlooking the 17-year-old, she is channeling the mentality of one Gianna Bryant. Perhaps that is the final push she needs to truly cement herself as a player in the game for years to come. With a support system like hers, the sky is the limit for Me’Arah.
