Recently, the player-turned-DJ shared a reel on his Instagram stories for his followers to view. The reel was of the famous 62 YO American actor Eddie Murphy. The veteran actor and stand-up comedian rose to fame in the early ’80s for his sketch comedy on Saturday Night Live. Murphy is famous for movies such as Coming to America and Shrek. Comedy Central ranked Murphy at No. 10 on their list of the 100 greatest stand-ups ever.
The video is a compilation of the actor imitating famous celebrities. The star imitated other stars including Muhammad Ali, Michael Jackson, Tracy Morgan, and his brother Charlie Murphy. Fittingly, Shaq, who always finds ways to entertain his growing number of followers and keep them engaged, spotlighted Murphy’s act.

Interestingly, Eddie Murphy once imitated another boxing legend, Mike Tyson.
Murphy teases Mike Tyson for his “Mike Tysonism”
In a viral video clip of Mike Tyson that is making waves on social media, he pays homage to Sammy Davis Jr. on a show. Tyson praised Davis, dubbing him the unbeatable champion. Adding a comedic twist, Murphy playfully prodded Tyson to use his signature voice, prompting a hilarious Tyson-esque impression.
“The producer of the show was hoping you would have a little more feeling of more Mike. You know a little more, Mike Tyson. You know more Mike Tysonism-like.”
