Shaquille O’Neal marked the “bring your daughter to work day” in style. About a week ago, Shaq took his firstborn Taahirah O’Neal to work, at the TNT office. Now Shaw has done many things in life that he can be very proud of, but the joy he had for that one day, is unmatched.

The NBA veteran posted a clip, recapping his day with Taahirah with a hilarious voiceover. The 27-year-old penned a heartfelt message for her ‘best friend’ after being surprised that the clip was reposted by an Instagram account dedicated to fathers. Taahirah wrote, “Oh wow! Thank you so much for sharing. Pops is my best friend, my mentor, and overall the biggest blessing in my life. 🫶🏾 I love you @shaq”, in the comments of the post.
On their day out, Shaq showed Taahirah where he “works”, and the things he enjoys the most which include flying a drone and of course bullying his best friend Charles Barkley.

Shaq did a phenomenal job with the voice-over of the clip as well. The Big Man was extremely proud of taking his daughter to his place of work. He showed Taahirah how the job gets done in the TNT office for the best sports TV show. Shaq also highlighted the importance of good production value on his show. The Big Man gloated about not needing any makeup or touch-ups because, well, he is more handsome than the people he works with, in his words.

Then came the fun part, the part where he admitted that he doesn’t really work there as his “work” includes flying drones and losing them, watching games, and threatening Sir Charles. When Taahirah seemed bored of his antics, Shaq pulled a major father move and decided to sing for her, with the only intention of waking her up.
Shaq’s ‘bring your daughter to work day’ was an instant hit on Instagram. The day he posted the clip on his profile, Taahirah replied, “Who doesn’t love bring your daughter to work day? 😂🏀🎤” while TNT’s official account acknowledged the comedic genius who also happens to be the most dominant athlete in basketball history with, “Never a dull moment with @shaq.” So when the post found its way to the Dear Father’s Instagram page, Taahirah was touched by the praise.
